Vittal is keen on improving quality of patient centered care. He has been leading the Acute Medicine department at University Hospitals of Leicester.
He is passionate about working along with MDT teams to deliver the evidence based quality of care which is tailored to individualised patients. He has been trained in Quality Improvement and Service Redesign via NHS Improvement.
He has been Accredited Mentor for staff in Healthcare at various levels and has been one of the key members of steering group to improve Quality of care at University Hospitals of Leicester. He has worked with collaboratively to bring primary and secondary care together.
