INVITATION TO JOIN BAPIO
The British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin is a national voluntary organisation, established in 1998. It is the largest body, representing Doctors and Dentists of Indian origin working in the National Health Service, UK. BAPIO was launched by the then Health Minister RT Hon Tessa Jowell MP and since then it has steadily grown in stature and influence.

Who can join?
Membership is open to doctors and dentists, and medical and dental students, of Indian origin working in UK. (Indian origin means originating from the Indian subcontinent). Doctors and dentists not from the Indian subcontinent may apply to join as associate members, and will have full access to services, except voting rights.
