BAPIO has formed a Co-Ordinating Committee to
launch its London Divisional Division on 14th October 2004 at a
meeting held in Ilford, London.
BAPIO has already established four Divisional divisions in England.
It is planning to form similar divisions in Wales, Scotland and
Northern Ireland.
Its Yorkshire Division was launched by Lord Bhiku Parekh in June
2004 and the North West Division was launched by Pakistan Consul
General in August 2004.
The committee is lead by Dr Anand Deshpande who is a General
Practitioner in South London. He said, We are very enthusiastic
about the new opportunities for the Doctors in the London Division.
We look forward with excitement to the launch on 4th December
2004.

Satheesh Mathew, a Consultant Paediatrician from Newham is the
co-chairman with Dr Deshpande. Satheesh was delighted to see the
dedication and support amongst the members for BAPIO. The other
committee members include; Mr Rajiv Varma, Dr Jeewan Rawal, Dr
Aloke Agrawal, Mr Roop Tandon, Dr Satya Hegde, Mr Taleb Jeddy and
Dr Gopal Sheshappanayar.
Dr Rahman Khan, Consultant Physician and BAPIO Vice-Chairman
organised the meeting which was also attended by the National
president of BAPIO Dr Ramesh Mehta and Mr Buddhdev Pandya, Hon
Corporate Advisor.
London being the centre of British main political and commercial
life, this division is vitally important to BAPIO said Mr Pandya. |
